I was honored to teach my first storytelling class at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts in 2019. I Am My Ancestors’ Wildest Dreams was an affinity-based class for Black and Brown Vermont residents. During my emcee closing remarks at our Voices of Color Story Slam, I reflected on my mental health journey navigating life with anxiety and depression. Through storytelling, I found healing, and it reignited my soul to envision a new purpose.
All Heart Inspirations emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic as a light—for myself and others. Aspiring to make a collective difference within my Vermont community and beyond, one story at a time, I have since led over 150 storytelling offerings.
